Ponderance of the Obvious

What is to become of war
When man no longer has skin
in the game? When machines fly
silent above the desert
and mechanized rats chew
guerrilla mainframes.
What then becomes of war?
Shall it rise over the city
like a dome of plasma? Does it
shy from the heat of its dissipate
rays? Have we sealed down the lids
of these useless coffins, or has
a new herd of scarlets just
started to bray? What then
becomes of war? I fear it
Dare I say.
