Unbroken Faiths

Standard

Here’s something interesting:
how you say you know me
without reading every page.
As if there were only three.
So many stories – lost;
binding never broken.

Knowing without knowing
The Vedas, Tao te Ching,
Egyptian Book of the Dead,
Bhagavad Gita, The
Sutras, Upanishads,
Iliad, and Gilgamesh.

Yet, somehow you expect
a welcome from the stars.
When in truth you’re still blind
to all stories that lie
(binding never broken)
within unread pages.
